We’ve mentioned before that COVID-19 has shut down international missions trips, affecting our ability to deliver instruments overseas. But the pandemic hasn’t stopped us from impacting the world at large, one instrument at a time. Because of your incredible support, and thanks to the funds we raised at the Instruments of Joy Benefit Concert in early March, we were able to purchase 53 guitars! Story of Blessing

We recently received a video update from Benjamin in Nigeria. He and his wife shared a heartfelt, “thank you,” for the guitar they received from Instruments of Joy back in early March. They have used it to teach the students how to worship the Lord. We wanted to share it with you to show you just how much your support can impact musicians around the globe.

Artistry Fighting Poverty

World Vision, Food for the Hungry, and Compassion International are teaming up to present the incredible upcoming concert Unite to Fight Poverty! The two-hour virtual concert will benefit some of the most vulnerable children and families who have been impacted by COVID-19. The show will include Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith, Kirk Franklin, TobyMac, Hillsong Worship, and many others. To watch the show, tune in to the Unite to Fight Poverty Facebook page on August 28th at 7:30cst.

This concert theme shares the heartbeat of our mission at Instruments of Joy. We love watching music impact the world, instilling the hope and joy we have in Jesus. We partner with all of the ministries who are hosting this show, and we are so excited that this event will use music to fight poverty.
