Patience and kindness still win!
It may just be me, but it seems that the importance of patience and kindness has been lost in our post-modern culture. The apostle Paul, in this well-known passage of scripture, said this;
“Love is patient and kind; loves does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. ” 1 Cor 13:4-8”
How do we measure up to this standard? Love endures all things (including 2020) with patience and kindness! As we move into 2021, will you join me in a genuine pursuit of love for both God and man?
