Covid-19 Is Not Stopping The Joy

David is one of the creative minds involved in the music program at Castillo del Rey in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Each year Castillo del Rey provides a place for thousands of children to find a sense of belonging. El Salvador recently had the world’s highest murder rate due to gang violence. Many children join the gangs at the youngest ages in order to find a sense of belonging. The music program exists to provide a healthy way for children to express themselves and find their true purpose in life.

David enjoys teaching that like this guitar, we are all instruments who can find our purpose in our relationship with God. If we are unintentional and play random notes at random times it does not always sound so great, but if we use our gifts in the right ways with the right timing we can join together and play in the symphony of life.

In spite of Covid-19, we are still being instruments of joy! We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of our ministry partners. Those who have donated instruments, delivered instruments, or given to the ministry. You have truly made a lasting impact on those in need. Every gift you have given has helped us fight poverty and infuse hope through music.

We are still taking donations and looking for instruments, eagerly awaiting the day we can get them into the hands of an aspiring musician.
