Story of Blessing
This year is already off to an incredible start! In January, we sent out EIGHT instruments through our delivery partners! Of those instruments, five guitars went to a Nashville organization that provides guitar lessons for kids. One keyboard is currently en route to Dominica. And, one flugelhorn and one trumpet will be on the way to Guatemala soon.
We are anxiously awaiting the testimonies birthed from these impactful instrument deliveries. But the Instruments of Joy team is already full of excitement, knowing that we can expand our reach around the globe once again. We are so thankful for our donors, sponsors, and delivery partners who are already working so hard to make 2021 a joy-filled year for budding musicians around the world.
Artistry Fighting Poverty
Calling all artisans! We have a creative and unique opportunity for artists within our local community. We have a few instruments that aren’t in the right condition for us to donate to musicians. Instead, we would love for local artisans to transform these instruments into art pieces. We plan to sell the final art pieces to help fund the purchase of other musical instruments that we can send out to those in need.
