Hope For Carlos and His Community
2021 was a year of many blessings. This year alone Instruments of Joy delivered over 150 instruments to many musicians worldwide. One of these instruments went to Pastor Carlos González in Mazatlán, Mexico. Carlos uses music to bring hope and joy to the people in his community. For over 10 years he has blessed those around him through music, and now he has a quality acoustic Archtop Monari Guitar to reach even more people! We feel so blessed to partner with countless leaders like Carlos to spread hope and joy through music to communities around the globe.
An Unexpected Blessing
In 2019, just before the pandemic, Instruments of Joy put on a charity concert featuring Phil Keaggy and many other wonderful musicians. Unfortunately, the ticketing company processing tickets for the show did not pay us any of the money raised. This month after nearly two years, they unexpectedly paid the balance in full. With these funds, we were able to purchase 41 guitars to give to musicians next year!
Despite all of the craziness of 2021, as we enter this new year it is important to remember that there is always an opportunity and reason for hope. We have so many things to be grateful for and chief among them are our amazing partners. Thank you for all of the hope and joy that you have made possible this year.
