MORAIS: Brazil

Morais’ mother passed away when he was one. He lived with his grandparents until they passed and has since fought for a living by farming alongside his brother. In Brazil, Morais described himself to us as a low-class young man “with little life conditions,” but also a blessed man. As an 18-year-old he has now started high school, where he has the ability to study music—and now, he has a guitar! He hopes to record an album one day and said he was “forever grateful” at the chance to fulfill his dream of singing.
